Ann's Pantry in Moelfre

Hi Wil

We have just returned from a long weekend in Moelfre.

Every year we go to Anglesey for either a long weekend. Or, as we did last year a week with ALL The Family - 10 of us in Trearddur Bay.

Each time we visit Moelfre, we have the obligatory coffee and chat in Ann's Pantry and each time I look over to Alanfor B&B and say, "I want to stay there!"

Well this year we did - and What a Gem! Julia and Mike are excellent hosts. The B & B is top notch and I think she's aiming for 4 stars, but we felt it was worth more.

We will definitley be back again (so please don't tell toooo many!) Ann's Pantry over the road (thank you Laura - you have a lovely place) is so welcoming and the food good - for us Moelfre is a Hidden Gem.

We love the coastal walks, the slow pace, the friendly locals. They work so hard to put Moelfre on the map.

We will never tire of visiting Moelfre.

Best wishes

Christine

Dear Christine

That's a fabulous report and description of Moelfre, its outstanding natural beauty, warm people and Ann's Pantry. It's a great place for a panad a teisen (cuppa & cake).

Now you know why I call my site Angelesey Hidden Gem. I'm sure you've got your own special places.

May you always return and may your memories be be better than last time.

Best wishes

Wil

Back Again
by: Christine (Manchester)

Hi Wil

Yes we are back again in April for another few days in Arlanfor B & B in Moelfre. Have been lucky enough to secure the room we had before - fabulous views over the sea - albeit a week later than we initially planned due to them being fully booked, we're really looking forward to it again

Only one fly in the ointment - Anns Pantry is now only opening for evening meals on a Saturday - to say we'll be disappointed is so true. We had such a lovely time last year talking to the locals and eating great food, chatting to Laura, each night we were there (3 in total)

Any suggestions as to where we can go to eat within walking distance ? Would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks
