White Beach at Penmon, Anglesey

Hi Wil

Well done with your informative web site. Just read your description of White Beach which I found very good.

As a teenager in the 60's I spent many an afternoon there trying my hand at fishing.

During my school holidays at Pen Marian Mawr when it was a farm owned by Owen and Lizzie Davies with very fond memories of Llangoed, Penmon and Bewmaris (Beaumaris).

Thanks,

Frank

Hi Frank

So nice to hear from you and thank you for your kind words. I'm glad that people still manage to visit Anglesey Hidden Gem despite my being consumed by family health problems this last year.

Getting back into it slowly and there are many, many more places I will write about soon.

I love 'Bewmaris', as we locals call it and frequently go there to watch the Menai Straits (have you seen this page?). Four years ago yesterday. Still remember how blinkin' cold it was.

Please feel free to write again. You may have noticed that people enjoy writing about their holidays on Anglesey. Especially, late 50s and 60s at Church Bay.

My warmest regards to you and your family this stormy weekend.

Wil
