Read with interest your sites remarks regarding Rio Tinto.

I work - not for much longer - at Rio Tinto's Lynemouth Smelter. A touch of deja vu perhaps?

Sold down the river, Betrayed, Closed Down, power plant sold off.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing because it seems that RTAs intention from Day 1 was to close Lynemouth and sell the Power Station.

Good riddence I say! I will be out of work but at least Rio tinto will have gone from my beautiful county of Northumberland.
