Hello Wil

Thanks for keeping this website so interesting.

Just came across this photograph whue I was tidying a a cupboard at work at Gwalchmai Quarry. I was wondering if anyone recognised any of the poeple.

It seems that the picture was taken in 1947 and I can't recognise anyone. I have a great pity for them that they had to drive the sort of lorry. We are so lucky today with the lorries we have.

Take care,

Mike Jones
