Mala's Bistro in Holyhead

by Mangoflower
(Holyhead)

Let me tell you a secret! One of the best little restaurants on Anglesey can be found tucked away in Holyhead's town centre.

Mala's Bistro will whisk you away on a journey around the globe with its fusion of tastes expertly prepared by Chef extraordinaire, Mala.

Mala's Bistro is small yet cosy so it is advisable to book at weekends and busy periods.

Give yourselves plenty of time, have an aperitif, because the food is prepared on the premises and to order. The wait will be worth it, I promise!

On a culinary scale, Mala's Bistro is Holyhead's answer to the Buddha Bar, although without the music. Mind you, next time I visit I may well suggest to Chris, the Maitre D', to put on some cool World sounds. Why don't you do the same!

Oh, and finally, don't worry about parking. There is a large secure car park situated just to the rear of the Bistro.

Go on, give it a go. You won't be disappointed.

Thanks to Mangoflower for the report. I know the place and have eaten there.

I believe that the magic ingredient that really elevates this place is Mala's smile.

Mala Really Rules
by: Wil from Anglesey Hidden Gem

Dear Friends

Today, Mala made me a wonderful salmon and kingprawn salad with a sweet chilli dressing. Heavens Above! But it was marvellous. Salmon and prawns cooked to perfection and the dressing was beyond true expression of delight. It was really, really, really nice.

It was served by Mala and her famous smile. Exquisite. Both Mala and aforementioned salad.

At the end of Holyhead High Street and open at lunchtimes as well.

Everything I write about on this website is from the heart just like Mala's cooking.
