Wylfa Nuclear Power Station

Wylfa Nuclear Power Station

Hi Wil

Anglesey Aluminium and Parc Cybi. Having returned from 2 years abroad I find it amazing that actualy, nothing has been done to either site?

Hello, is there anybody there? But we are now part of Gwynedd?

Hi there Martin,

I'm afraid I've had a very long period now dealing with a family illness and so Anglesey Hidden Gem has had to go on the backburner. Such is life.

Right. Anglesey Aluminium and the three phase proposal for the site.

The project is being developed by a group of architects and business associates from the Chester area; Lateral Power.

The hold up was because of an unfortunate and then unforeseen issue arising form their Planning application. They had to start all over again. It's still going on in the background but there has been a worry about maintaining the finance to start.

We've learned to be patient on Anglesey. We've been patient with Wylfa B Nuclear Power Station. Last week brought good news that the Government will underwrite the financing of the Horizon Wylfa Newydd Project.

The next stage is the planning application which is going to be a massive project in itself.

Also, we are Ynys Mon and not Gwynedd. As long as the County Councillors behave, that is.

I'll keep you updated on this - as time and family allows.

My very best wishes to you and your family,

Nadolig Llawen (Happy Christmas)

Wil
