Summer Holidays at Bull Bay

by Jacki Cammidge
(Grand Forks, B.C. Canada)

As a child (about 7 years old) we went to Anglesey for holidays, and I can remember clearly the sand and the rock pools on the beaches - one beach was Bull Bay, but I can't remember the others. What lovely memories.

I have black and white pictures of all of us happily playing. That would have been around 1965, and in 1968 we emigrated to Canada, and have never gone back.

Hello to Anglesey from Grand Forks, British Columbia, Canada!

Jacki

Hi there Jacki,

Hands across the oceans, and all that.

I am so glad that serendipity and a kind heart found you at my site and it brought back happy memories.

I'm one those people who believes that we should always be accumulating a Critical Mass of happy memories. It fills the Existential Void and makes us almost invulnerable to most daily challenges.

If you remember the other beaches you visited let me know and I'll see about getting you some photos. The great thing about beaches on Anglesey is that it's only Nature that changes them - and that takes a long, long time.

Listen for that seagull and find your way back to a golden beach, blue sea, blue sky, Sun and an ice cream.

Brilliant to hear from you and a big thank you.

Wil
