Sandy Beach - The Beach

On the beach last summer

This isn't really a story it is just a general recommendation.

I have been to Anglesey at least 5 times a year since I was 3. We bring the ponies and ride on the beach and in the sea in the mornings. We go into the sea with the dogs and the body boards in the afternoons. We then have a barbecue in the evening.

Sandy beach is a home from Home, and in the summer holidays we spend the whole of August there. I cannot recommend it enough, and most of my favourite memories of summer are there.

Oh and by the way, the photo at the top of the main website is of me cycling with my dad when I was about 8!!

Regards

Annabel

Sandy Beach - The Beach
by: Wil from Anglesey Hidden Gem

Dear Annabel

Thanks for writing to Anglesey Hidden Gem. I really appreciate your contribution as it really highlights what Anglesey is for many people.

Not only is Sandy Beach a lovely flat and glorious Beach but it has a camp site right on it with a lovely little shop selling groceries, but best of all ice lollies.

The view from the beach to Holyhead Port is spectacular and I loved sitting and watching the large ferries enter and leave.

I hope that you have an equally brilliant time - if not even better - this summer.

My very best wishes to you and your family.

Wil
